LADY EVIL

Hey everyone!
I'm sorry about the lack of posts, again, but I've been utterly ill and it's been a tough recovery.

So here's my latest look, featuring the Thelema Sheer shirt from Killstar's latest collection.
I'm must be honest, I never in a million years would have thought I'd be wearing shirts, but this one keeps the goth style on! And I love it!

Check this look and hype it now on lookbook.nu!

DEAD MOON RISING // DISTURBIA PHOTOSHOOT

Hi everyone!

I haven't posted in a while. I've been dead drowned in work, which one of them was my latest self shot lookbook for Disturbia Clothing (yes, self shot, where I pose in front of a tripod - in case you're wondering)!
This is not the first shooting, but each time gets more exciting than the last!
This time I went for a pale pastel theme in a bright background. I was so happy with the results, I ended up sharing this same look on Lookbook.nu!
Right here I'm wearing their Dead Moon Rising leather jacket which has the most awesome design in the back, the Hell Jeans! I swear I fall deeper in love with every collection!!
You can give a hype on the look through the widget down below!

COLLAB WITH NEWDRESS.COM

     Hey everyone!
So a few weeks ago, this brand NewDress.com, contacted me to work on a little collab.

They sent me three cute items:
- a pair of black skinny ripped jeans
- a black maxi dress with a side crack
- a pack of 18 make up brushes with a leather case

The package got in real quick. I was a bit septic at first, but they turned out to be quite good pieces!
The jeans are not super skinny, but they fit in really well! And the cuts actually have a nice finish so they won't keep on ripping (please don't mind the feet in the picture)!
The dress is actually really nice and soft, and what I love about it is that the cut is not too high, so it has a proper cut for someone who doesn't like to show off too much flesh like me (I'll post the pictures later)!
The brushes pack actually set me in for a treat! I really like their quality! The little hairs don't fall, and they don't stick in bits, and they're also really freaking easy to wash out!
I'll definitely be featuring them on some lookbook posts!

Rock on,

THE THELEMA SOCKS

     Hey guys!
As you can obviously tell, this post is post is all about the Thelema socks from Killstar Co.!
Now, there's something that I need to say about this brand (and I have no idea why I haven't said it before?): the quality of their products is IN-SANE! Tila (the owner) takes the occult to whole other luxurious level! She knows how to put the evil with the right amount of quality, and that is very hard to find *gasps*!
Firsty, what I love about this gorgeous pair, is the name! Anyone who's into this kind of things knows the law of Thelema, "do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law. Love is the law, love under will". She keeps it real! And do I even need to mention the gorgeous unicursal hexagram in the front? What else could you ask for?! It's the perfecr item to wear if you have a dark "witchy style" and want to give that extra touch in details! And I think I don't even to mention that Tila is a super sweet Goddess do I?

Visit Killstar's website here!
And don't forget to hype it on lookbook.nu!

FIRST MAKE UP TUTORIAL - AWKWARD!

     Hi guys!

     So, here's what's new!
Due to a crazy amount of requests, I finally made the make up tutorial so many of you have been asking for!
First of all, let me just say I felt pretty awkward filming this. Also, it didn't turn out quite as I wanted to! Those who know me know I have a terrible sight, so the only way for me to do any kind of make up is to stand an inch away from the mirror (I'm not even kidding), so there's no chance I'd be filming staring at the camera. So the only way for me to make this was if I placed the camera in my diagonal, but STILL I had to move a bit away from the mirror. This obviously jeopardized a bit my final result, but it didn't turn out to look that bad.
Feel free to watch it, as well as any other videos on the account!

Here's a list of all the items I used in the video:

KIKO Skin Evolution Concealer – 01 Natural Pink:

SEPHORA Mattifying Compact Foundation – 26 Peach:

KIKO High Pigmentation Eyeshadow – 127 Satin White:

KIKO High Pigmentation Eyeshadow – 180 Mate Coal Black:

H&M Dipliner:

RIMMEL LONDON Volume Flash x10 Mascara:

LIME CRIME Velvetine Liquid Matte Lipstick – Red Velvet:

H&M Brushes
For powder bronzer:
Light Eyeshadow:
Dark Eyeshadow:

Thank you so much for watching and reading, send me your thoughts!

DEVIL CHILD

     Hi guys!
Here's my latest look. This outfit is obviously all about Black Hope Curse. These are two of the pieces they kindly sent me, the Mystic Boxy crop tee, and the Devil Child leggins (you can obviously tell where the name of the look comes from)!
First of all, what I really like about them is that the cotton the most soft and light thing! It's super comfortable! And secondly, the crop top is not super short, it's just the exact length I like! Both of the pieces look great with practically anything, and the designs are very grungy, specially the leggins! And another thing I like about them is that the prints have great quality and they're not super white, but they're a midtone grey! How awesome is that? They're really one of a kind clothing pieces, you won't find anything like them that easily!
So overall, I fucking love them!! Hype them on my lookbook page! And also don't forget to check all other links on the side bar!

NECROMANCY COSMETICA: LIPSTICKS REVIEW

Hi guys! How have you been?

Yep. I've been *again* away for way too long. But I bring you news!

So a few months ago Necromancy Cosmetica from Puerto Rico sent me six wicked matte lipsticks for me to try on and create new looks to feature in my shootings!
I decided to gather three different looks I created with three of those colors in this post. The cutie Des sent me six shades of matte lipsticks: "Witches Brew" a super bright purple, "Segunda Plaga" a deep earthly green tone - which, by the way, I feel like it's becoming their great hit on social media, or at least that's my opinion, "Necromatia" a deep vivid blue, "Martyr's Blood" a deep dark burgundy (I keep saying the word "deep" but there's no other way of saying it got damn it), "Naked Witch" a soft grey, and "Deadly Nightshade" a creamy baby blue.
In the first picture (from left to right) I'm wearing "Naked Witch". If you're looking for a simple look with an edgy touch, that's your color! Even though it's a light color, it's super easy and simple to apply, as you don't need to paint your lips over and over again to get the actual color! I actually only needed to spread it two times, and it's also really easy to contour the lips without a pencil!
In the second picture I'm wearing "Martyr's Blood". First of all, genius name for it! Now this is the perfect color to wear daily if you're into wearing heavy make up everyday like I sometimes do! At first glance it almost seems like the deep blood-ish kind of color has some dark purple undertones, which is fu-cking awesome. If you're looking into intimidating people on the street with the perfect lipstick, that's your color! And the awesome part? It kinda actually looks like you've dipped your lips in blood! Let's admit it ladies, you know it makes you feel powerful as hell when you're wearing a shade like that - and we all fucking love it! And just like "Naked Witch" you don't need to apply it many times to get that dark color, but because it's a dark lipstick you should play safe and wear a pencil of the same tone to do the contouring! Not that the lipstick is hard to apply (because it's not), we just want to make it look as perfect as possible!
In the second picture I'm wearing "Segunda Plaga". Now this is a peculiar shade I thought I'd never wear! But you know what? I love it! Just like "Necromantia" these appealing colors actually give you that extra edginess your look was asking for! Both of them are dark shades, so it actually fits really well if you have a dark style like myself, and it also ends up completing your entire look if you have a fierce and edgy personality!
So, overall, they're all really strong and impactful shades! All of the colors are super vivid, and really easy to put a remove! They can last for hours - taking the necessary cautions all of us ladies are aware of - UNLESS you decide to smudge your boyfriend/girlfriend with kisses, then, dude, share your lipstick with their fucking face!!
If you like my looks, I'll be making video tutorials soon! I've been getting way too many requests, it's time for me to make them! Also, like my septum rings? They're gorgeous right?! You can find them at patapatajewelry.com!

For more updates you can follow me on instagram! You can also check some of my other social media links on the side bar!

     Hope you liked it!

20 Y.O. AND GRADUATED: NOW WHAT?

Hi guys!

It's with great pleasure that I'm proud to announce that I'm officially graduated (*yeahhh, throws parade*)!
No. But seriously. This has been nothing but an incessant roller-coaster of an emotionally revealing life lesson full of doubts and insecurities that now only seem pile up instead of relieving all of this pressure with answers.
We spend our three years from high school constantly getting the "you're gonna have to know what do you want to do for the rest of your life, and be the best at it" kind of speech, go through all of those nerve-wracking finals, and then when it's all over, you're still just a clumsy kid tumbling into and adult's world!
When we finally get into the so-expected-university  and now speaking for myself  I had the constant feeling that I was still an insecure youngster who was not ready to face all of that alone. I was not ready to socialize in a group of strangers (as I'm tremendously shy), nor was I ready to sit and learn how to act like a professional.

Well, overall I have to say that nothing ended up to be what I expected!

Turns out all of those strangers are now great friends of mine, and I don't know what it would've been like without them! I didn't just met people who I consider great co-workers, I've met people with amazing and influential personalities who are probably some of the most important people that I've had the pleasure to walk along side with in my entire life. I've learnt from them, I laughed (so f*cking much) with them, I cried with them, and most importantly, I've grown with them!
Also, turns out that my high school has prepared me too goddamn well for everything that I faced during these past three years!
You know all of that bullcrap you used to say a few years back, like, "why do I need this? Why the f*ck do we have to learn this? This is useless, I'll never need this in rest of my life" hm, well (*high pitched voice*)....! Turns out that, you kinda do! Believe me, all of that "bullshit" you so used call is kinda important for you. And I realized that when, in certain classes in uni, I had to apply those things high school teachers implied to us so much, and my only thought was "phew, glad I've heard/done this before"! So, to all the youngsters out there reading this: when a teacher insists in teaching you something (and I'm not even talking about material from you class module), believe us graduation students when we tell you that, you WILL need it!

Well now, by the end of my graduation, I can say... I am far from done! I've enjoyed so much learning all that I've learnt of what I like doing the most that I can't stop now!

BUT, there's a huge question mark in the freaking way...!
You know when you're in your, I don't know, 15/16 years of age, and you kinda say to yourself "yeah when I turn 20 I'll be having my driver's license already, I'll be graduated and have a job, and have my life settled and soon after that I'll be moving out and be a grown-up"?
Err... Here's the thing 15 year old me:
I am FAR from having my goddamn life settled! And, moving out...? If I could, I'd stay in my mummy's place until I'm old (you do realize she cooks the greatest meals right? She even puts up with your vegetarian diet! You wanna give up on that?)!

So, again, dear 15 year old me, I did get my driver's license... I am 20 years old now... and I am graduated... Now what?

FROM BLOND TO VIOLET

Hi people, long time no see!
Again, so sorry about the my absence, but as I told you due to some health issues I couldn't keep up with everything.
ANYWHO, I decided I needed a change. I sorta woke up one day and felt like something was missing. I thought "hm, I've been looking like this for quite too long", and for those who know me, you know I can't not change for too long! So I decided to try a new hair color for a few weeks. You know I've been dying my hair every single color since I was, like, what... 15? So I dyed my hair violet for the third time, but this time I did it on my entire hair.
I kind like it! Not sure if this is a color I'd like to maintain for a little longer, but I'm really feeling like this could be my color! I dyed it mostly because of Rogue + Wolf though, so I could shoot better with a different style!
Meanwhile, I've been getting way too many questions about my ears! No they're not surgically modified (unfortunately), and nor are they prosthetic silicone, I just edit them on photoshop. I really hope to get them modified someday (whenever I find a good and decent surgeon in my country lol), I've been wanting this for years now!
Send me your thoughts about the new color!

Rock on,
B xx

I'M BACK!

Hi everyone!

So I haven't updated my blog in... how long? Way too fucking long I guess, but I'm back!
I'll be posting more stuff about current projects, about my looks (as usual), and maybe some personal stuff as well like tips on vegetarian meals, and maybe shoutouts to some skin products and such. Same old shit and more!
The reason why I've been so absent is mostly the lack of time I got from all the uni works and shit, as well and some health issues, but from now on I'll start posting stuff once a week at least.
Meanwhile, I want to thank to everyone who I've been working with so far for all the support and for always believing in me!

Cheers,
B xx

HELL AWAITS

This look is pretty goddamn fucking simple.
So I put together my black DIY ripped jeans, a Sons Of Anarchy sleveless shirt, a 8 eyelet white leather pair of Steel boots (obviously), all matching my main piece, a DIY Slayer denim jacket. It's not complete though, but that patch on my back's looking fucking sick!
    Rock on!

Meanwhile, check my photography page on facebook!

DEVIL'S DIME

Yes, yes... I've been gone for quite a while! This was my OOTD.
This is a brand new Harley Davidson Biker jacket. I saw it and I fell deep in love with it. It just goes exactly with my style. I wore it with some DIY black skinny ripped jeans, and one of my latest pairs of Steel boots from one of my latest catalogs (where you can check the photos HERE and the commercials HERE). Obviously with the same silverwear but with some new changes. I've decided to bleach my hair to pale white. You're probably wondering "why would someone who wears black all the time bleach her hair?" well, let me just ask you one question, can't you see the contrast between the black clothing and the pale hair? It's simply beautiful. It's still not finished though, you can tell there are some differences between the edges and the roots, but I'll finish this work by the end of February and make sure it gets to white.
    Rock on!

MASTER OF PUPPETS

Okay, yeah, I skipped two looks but I'm feeling kinda lazy to post shit.

    Here's my latest look!
Black leather jacket, Master Of Puppet Metallica shirt, black skinny jeans, and Steel 6 eye burgundy boots.
It is more than obvious that the burgundy leather from the boots are matching the red tone from the Metallica's shirt. As always, to follow the outfit, I always wear the same silver spiked accessories.
I love this outfit, and I fucking LOVE Metallica, even though I'm not the most colorful person, the dark red burgundy is the perfect kind of tone for someone like me, it's dark and you can't almost tell if it's black or red, and it has the classic agressive shape of Steel!
    Fucking love this!

STEEL 6 Eye: Good Ol' Classic Fashioned Vintage Pin-Up

Hello there rockers,
I know I haven't post much lately, but here's my latest Steel catalog and commercial video!

For the summer, Steel decided to send me a 6 eye burgundy leather boots pair.
I must confess I'm not much a fan of colors, but this tone of dark burgundy made me fell in love!
All always, as you may noticed, the design is the same, the only thing that changes is the number of eyelets. The 6 eye is perfect for warmer season. Most people may think that boots are too hot to wear for summer of even spring, but I guarentee you that this boots model is the most confortable one to wear either during winter or summer, as they are short (but not as short as 3 eyelet shoes) but at the same time not as tall as 10 eyelet boot. So you have a fresh kind of boot with tons of color for you to choose!

This time the photo shoot took plece at the 50's Diner Happy Days Diner & Bar in Cascais. As the previous photo shoots were in black and white, this time we needed a really colorful session to promote the various colors that Steel can offer for your boots!
And which place else would fit better the dark red burgundy boots than a super inspiring 50's thematic diner?

STEEL COMMECIAL PHOTOS & VIDEOS: 3 EYE BLACK LEATHER

Hey there rockers,
I know I haven't been posting stuff for quite a while but I've been a bit busy, but it's for a good reason.

This is my latest campaign for Steel Boots&Shoes!
This month steel asked me for a "spring-ish" kind of spirit in order to promote their 3 eye steel shoes. I thought the theme that would fit better would be that "when a city girl walks a country mile" sort of thing. So I gathered two fantastic models Carolina Batista and João Mendonça for an outdoors/indoors photo shot and they just couldn't fit better! The reason why I picked these two models is because, besides from being close friends of mine, they're really different from each other and this gives the idea that Steel is suitable for everybody (which it is)!
The photo shoot exceeded my expectations, and so did the client's! Lots of people have told me by now that the kind of black and white I do is kind of a trademark of mine already, and that's a really good thing for me since I'm so in love with all of the greyscales!
The shoes have a really nice light look, and as you can suppose, they're great to wear in warmer seasons. They're short but wide, still a bit heavy from the steel caps, but all of those screws and agressive sole gives the shoe the classic heavy look that steel have and that everybody loves, and yet lights it up a little for having only three eyes! Fits perfectly with all styles, and either man or woman, it'll give you the alternative look of Steel.

A SPECIAL THANK YOU TO

DIE, DIE MY DARLING

Dear rockers,
I haven't made a post for quite a while now, so here it is.
This outfit is more about the vintage denim jacket and the Misfits beanie combo! Followed with my 10 eye black leather Steel boots, black skinny jeans, grey cotton shirt and my spiked necklace. If you're wondering why the f*ck aren't I wearing a black shirt... I just didn't had one that was washed.
Anywho, this is just another simple black+denim outfit. Good to go, any-fucking-where!

STEEL BOOTS&SHOES: COMMERCIAL PHOTOS & VIDEO

    Hey there rockers!
For those of you who don't know, I've been investing in photography for about 5/6 years now. I'm now getting my photography degree, in order to make my future out of it.
A few weeks ago this international brand contacted me and asked for some photos and a commercial video, and this is the result.
This is a punk/gothic brand, and the product they gave me has the tipical distinguished details that represents them so well. It's a really heavy, kind of agressive look, so I decided to give that same characteristic to the models as well. The boots are really heavy looking, I think there's no other word to describe them better, so the models are dressed in black, with a black smoky eye shadow, and some black blush and black lipstick.
This is my first "job" as a fashion photographer, and it was really exciting, for me and for the models. I've been collecting my portfolio for so long there's a lot I've learnt already, but what I seek in every thing I do is knowledge. I'm always ready to learn new things and this work gave me an opportunity to learn more about this type of art. It was something I've never done before, and it was a great experience! Can't wait to see what's coming next!

A HUGE THANK YOU TO:
Robyn Runte Oliveira and Margarida Baeta for such an amazing job as models!
Toxic Room for borrowing their song!
Jozef Ilencik for giving me this opportunity!
