SKY FERREIRA FOR YVES SAINT LAURENT PRE-FALL 2013

      


    Dear rockers, this post is dedicated to Sky Ferreira's amazing shots for Yves Saint Laurent's 2013 pre-fall.
    The latest generation pop sensation Sky Ferreira is now seen through Hedi Slimane's lens, one of my favourite photographers ever! His black and white signature is once again shown, this time on this rebel reckless angel. This beautiful portuguese and brazilian descendent was caught in the most natural tones and shades of a deep black and white with almost no grey shades, and a soft saturated color portrait held by a smooth red lipstick.
    Between all the 21 shots, it was hard to pick only just a few. These 6 are the best ones in my opinion, and may I say, this brings me some inspirantion.

DOUTZEN KROES FOR VOGUE GERMANY’S MARCH ISSUE

    March's month for Vogue Germany is couting on the stunning super model Doutzen Kroes.

    Kroes, from "Yes Model Management", has been on the cover of several known magazines like Time, Vogue, Harper's Bazaar and Numero, among others. She also worked for Gucci, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Escada, Dolce & Gabbana, Valentino, Versace and Neiman Marcus.

    Showing up for Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in 2005, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2011 and 2012, she only becamed an Angel in 2008.

    The 14th most well paid model in the world, is now seen by Daniel Jackson's lens in a gray scaled combination of impactual beauty. In my opinion, these four pictures reveal a strong look and breathtaking monochromatic scale, which I admire a lot and which I love to work with.

    Between the 10 pictures from the photo shot Dream On, Doutzen's wearing revealing and yet elegant selects from Oscar de la Renta, Balenciaga, Givenchy and Dior selected by stylist Julia von Boehm, and also wears some wild tresses courtesy of hair stylist Didier Malige and makeup by Yadim.

BARBARA PALVIN IN REPLAY'S SPRING CAMPAIGN 2013

    Barbara Palvin, the 19 year old model from Budapest, is the cover from 2013 Spring Campaign for the italian denim label REPLAY. 

    She first started modeling at the age of 13, and she has already appeared under huge names of fashion such as L'Officiel, Vogue Russia, Glamour Hungary, Jalouse Magazine, Armani Exchange, H&M, Victoria's Secret, Pull and Bear, L'Oreal Paris, Prada (during Milan Fashion Week in February 2010), Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu, Nina Ricci, Emanuel Ungaro, Christopher Kane, Julien MacDonald, Jeremy Scott, Vivienne Westwood, Etro, and opened the pre-fall 2011 Chanel show.

    Palvin, now ranked 40 on the Top 50 Models Women list by models.com, is often compared to russian model Natalia Vodianova. Editor Miranda Almond from British Vogue said "we chose Barbara because she is absolutely exquisite looking a cross between a young Brooke Shields and Natalia Vodianova".

    It's absolutely marvelous to see one of the model I've been following a quite a long while on the cover for one of my favourite brands ever! Each and every single time she stands beautifuly, this time in a laid-back style pictured by Terry Tsiolis.
